KIRSTEN BALASKI


Kirsten has been in a counselling role since 2010. During this time she has worked in a variety of sectors including community mental healthcare, substance use treatment, post-secondary education and private practice. She holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology obtained in 2014 and is a registered clinical counsellor.

Kirsten provides a holistic approach to counselling, focused on understanding the unique experience of each client and customizing treatment to fit. She sees counselling as a collaborative experience of discovery where the client and counsellor work together to process difficult experiences, find strategies that work for them and forge a path out of unhelpful patterns.

Kirsten strives to provide a confidential and nonjudgmental space for the safe exploration of thoughts, beliefs, emotions and experiences.
