Sue believes that each client is the expert of their own life and journey. She also believes that fostering a therapeutic relationship between the client and herself is the most important part of the counselling experience. Sue has found that using therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy, solution focused and problem-solving therapies, as well as strength-based therapy to be effective means of informing her practice.
Sue graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2010, she completed her Bachelor of Education from Simon Fraser University in 2011 and recently completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Sue is a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, Membership # 17867.
