I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I also hold a specialized certification in Stress and Wellness from the Canadian Stress Institute. I provide face to face therapy, telephonic therapy and online therapy via my private practice in Prince George, BC, Canada. I work with children, adolescents and adults.
My clinical interests include stress and wellness, chronic pain management, therapy for sleep issues, caregiver burnout and associated mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and addictions.
I have over 28 years’ experience working with adults and youth in educational, recreational and mental health and in my current clinical practice I work with a broad spectrum of clients with a wide range of issues.
My therapeutic approach is interactive and solution-focused and I draw from many evidence based therapies in order to provide a unique approach tailored to each client's needs. With passion and understanding I work with each individual, family or couple in order to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to achieving. My goal is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges.
