ELLEN WINOFSKY


Ellen has been working with individuals, children and families since 1993. She uses a client-centered approach to counselling and incorporates a variety of therapeutic tools. Ellen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) and is an MSW candidate. She has training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Communication & Conflict Resolution, Critical Incident Stress, Solution-Based Therapy, Creative Arts, among others and holds a certificate in Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Addictions Training.

With Ellen’s' diverse background and training she has experience working with numerous types of issues:

  • family/relationship issues
  • child and teen issues
  • LGBTQ issues/ concerns/ transitional support

  • addictions

  • numerous other areas.

Ellen’s biggest joy is seeing her clients achieve the mental wellbeing they are striving for and being able to be part of their journey in personal growth.
