Friesen, Ralph
Ralph has been counselling individuals, couples and families since 2001, following a career in the arts and cultural sectors of the government of Canada. He believes that, even when we feel lost, frustrated, or at wits end, there is always a part of us that knows what we need to know. He sees counselling as a conversation between client and counsellor through which the client is guided to a sense of confidence and a knowledge of wholeness. His areas of specialty include men and men's issues, resolving conflict in relationship, dealing with loss, fostering a stronger sense of connectedness, building a more accurate sense of self-worth; parenting. His approach is based on Solution-Focused and Inner Dialogue Therapy. He is also an experienced e-counsellor who believes in the healing power of written words.
Ralph has a Masters of Arts degree in English Literature and a Masters degree in Marriage, Family and Family Therapy.
