Program Awareness

Employee program education sessions are conducted at the worksite to promote employee familiarity of the EFAP program.

Critical Incident Debriefing

In situations where a major incident occurs on the worksite that results in a serious emotional impact on employees, there can be consequences for work performance.  When the symptoms of Critical Incident Stress (CIS) are ignored or denied, the individual risks further emotional upset.  Debriefing, consultation,  along with our CIS handout [[link]] helps employees regain control over their reactions and return to the tasks of daily life.  Walmsley & Associates offers critical incident stress debriefing on the worksite when requested.

Emergency Services

In emergency situations counsellors can be contacted, by telephone, 24 hours per day.  After regular business hours the 24 hour answering service connects the call to a counsellor while the client remains on the line.

Case Management

In situations where a referral to a treatment program or other services is necessary, Walmsley and Associates will maintain a case management role in the provision of services.
