Jim has lived in the Cariboo for over thirty years and has been working in the area of counselling since 1970. He did his undergraduate work at the University of British Columbia and his graduate work in Counselling at the University of Victoria .
 
 
 
 

After working in the school system for a number of years his counselling practice now focuses on working with adults and adolescents, both individually and in the family setting. Jim has experience with a number of counselling strategies and has a background in a wide variety of personal and work related issues. He has a particular interest in the developmental issues of adolescents, grief and loss, substance abuse, body image and eating disorders, relationships, self-esteem, and career transitions.

Jim is available to see clients on Wednesdays.
