Florence Flynn
Florence has worked in the counselling and social work field since 1960. She has extensive experience working with individuals, children, and families in a variety of settings. Florence has worked in the mental health field since 1982. Florence has worked in program and workplace development and enjoys working with workplace issues such as team building, conflict resolution, goal setting, and program development. She has worked extensively in areas of Critical Incident Stress Debriefing and with people experiencing Post Traumatic Stress. Florence has both a Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work degree from McGill University.
Florence believes that individuals generally have the ability to decide the best course of action for themselves but may need an opportunity to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe non-judgemental environment. Florence recognizes that throughout the normal course of life, we may come to a time that requires thoughtful reflection and then transformation and renewal. This process is sometimes more easily facilitated while in consultation with an objective third party. Florence is honoured to participate in this time of change and healing with those who choose to work with her.
Florence sees clients in the Williams Lake office on a Monday.
