Todd Blattner
Todd has a somewhat eclectic background as a ranch hand, forest worker, commercial fisherman, construction worker, teacher and adult educator. He has completed a Bachelor of Science degree with the University of Quebec and a Masterââ¬â¢s degree in psychology and counselling from Goddard College, in Vermont. Todd is also close to completing a three-year certification program in Integrative Body Psychotherapy, an approach to counselling that emphasizes the mind/body connection. In his spare time, Todd enjoys outdoor sports such as skiing, climbing, running, horseback riding, and biking.
Todd works with adults and older adolescents, specializing in marriage and relationship, anger management, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, sex, sexuality and human potential/personal growth. Todd has also worked extensively with First Nations people and is sensitive to issues that are unique to the First Nations cultural context.
His approach includes a focus on using the full potential of both mind and body, starting wherever you are, and walking with you as far as you wish to go. Todd believes that his job as a counsellor is to help you to believe in your own abilities, access your own resources, and move toward your own goals.
