Marilyn Armstrong

Marilyn has a background in teaching and social work, and has been counselling individuals, couples and families since 1982. She is fascinated by relationship dynamics and how the experience of growing up in one's family determines what individuals believe about themselves and how they behave in relationships. Helping clients sort out their relationship with themselves, a partner, a family member or a friend is of special interest.
Marilyn's approach is based on the needs of the client. She combines Cognitive-Behavioural, Family Systems and Emotionally Focussed Therapies.
Marilyn works with teens to seniors, individually, in relationship, or in a group.
Marilyn has a Masters of Arts degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counselling.
